There’s so many “humans are terrifying space orcs” posts out there, but what if humans are actually just really nice, curious space friends! We’re really just the friendly explorers of the galaxy who will bond with anything. When aliens see us they’re just like, “D’aww look at the nice but stupid human!” This tumblr thread explores that concept and they wrote a little script to go along with it:

That’s still Orc territory, we bound mostly with predators we kept as fighting support or things we like to eat.
I think the key thing to bear in mind is we bonded with predators that could kill us, were stronger than us, were faster than us and had better natural weapons than us…and got them to work for us not compete with us or try to kill us. That’s why you want us as friends, if for no other reason than you don’t want us as enemies. Plus, when you have us as friends we bring a lot of other friends with us.
