A Japanese A.I. that was originally designed to identify croissant pastries from bear claws turned out to be capable of a whole lot more, including identifying cancer cells. Ok, so this is such a crazy story it seems fake, but this actually happened. The New Yorker articles that is refenced in the screenshot below is The Pastry A.I.
