This is a list for inspiration purposes of actresses who are over 40 and are still badass action stars who could kick our asses. I would not mess with any of these women! It’s so awesome that Hollywood is finally coming around to the fact that older women can be action heroes too, just like men have always been. These women are not only talented actors, but they also pull off being totally believable warriors!
Disclaimer: obviously we are in no way saying these women are old, or shouldn’t be action stars. Quite the opposite. 40 was used for no reason other than an arbitrary number was chosen that some people may (wrongly) consider “too old” for women to be action stars. Letting “older” women act in roles like these is a relatively new thing in Hollywood unfortunately. With this post we are trying to be positive and lift up badass women!
