Another Good Reason for Trigger Warnings

A trigger warning (usually written as TW: followed by the reason for it) is a statement made at the beginning of a post when sharing potentially disturbing content. That content might include references to topics like sexual abuse, self-harm, violence, eating disorders, etc. While they are seen as “controversial” by many people, they are a good thing to get in the habit of including for mental health reasons. They are very helpful for people with PTSD or those who have experienced trauma. And it also turns out that they are healthy for people as well, here’s why:
