Anti-Capitalism Tweets by Existential Comics

Existential Comics has written many anti-capitalism tweets over the years and these are some of the best. He talks about capitalism, economics, greed, and just how unjust our entire 21st century system is. Oh and he also makes comics like this Chimpanzee Capitalism one we posted. Existential Comics is a philosophy comic about the inevitable anguish of living in an absurd world. Also jokes. You can support the comic on Patreon!

  1. There’s a valid argument against capitalism in here, but it’s held back by connecting it to a really stupid and ill-informed critique of Marvel movies.

  2. If he’s referring to the Holodomor when he says “famine”, that was intentional genocide. Not to say communism is worse than capitalism because capitalism does suck, but I think that IS pretty damn evil.

  3. I’ve often wondered what would happen if we GAVE (from taxes) everyone a living wage – enough to eat, have a roof over their heads, and exist beyond wondering where the next meal was going to come from (oh and for our American readers, some form of healthcare comparable with the UK NHS)?

These people would then spend that money, so it would end up circulating in the economy and taxation too, ultimately ending up with the billionaires and government anyway.

Those that wanted more than a ‘living wage’ would be encouraged to work, educate, train, etc to improve their standard of living, and hence yet more money circulating in the economy…

    What am I missing?

    1. ‘cuz then the useless corporate overlords wouldn’t have anywhere (ie middle-upper management) to put their even more useless crotch spawn
