Atypical Autism Traits

This is a great list of atypical autism traits. Which means you are autistic, but don’t show the “typical” traits of the average person with autism. This covers many categories including appearance / personal habits, intellectual / giftedness / education / vocation, emotional / physical, and social / relationships. Lists like these could help people seek out a diagnosis.

  1. Holly shit ! Thank you !! That explains so much about me 😯 Thank you, thank you, thank you !!!!

  2. I’m a dud, I was diagnosed when with High-Functioning Autism when I was 9, and holy crap, so many of these describe me to a T! Except for the part about taste/texture issues with food. Most vegetables, especially broccoli, taste like ass.

  3. It’s almost funny how many of these are ‘yeah, that sounds familiar.’ Never been diagnosed, but a lot of the other stuff… yeah.
