This is the way. Cosplayer Shawn Richter made this adorable little armored version of The Child aka Baby Yoda from The Mandalorian. He is absolutely precious! The Child’s true name has not yet been revealed so Star Wars fans are just calling him by the beloved nickname Baby Yoda.
*EDIT* With the reveal of his name in S02 E05 · Chapter 13: The Jedi, he with henceforth be known as Grogu The Mando!
The little guy is rocking a set of armor made of beskar, an almost indestructible Mandalorian iron. The Mando’a word for their Mandalorian armor is beskar’gam. This name means “iron skin” when translated into Galactic Basic Standard.
Mandalorian armor is central to the Mando way of life. So we can only assume that if Baby Yoda got his own set of armor he must be joining their creed. He might be the smallest Mando ever, but he could still be the most powerful, not to mention cutest!
