A CRT TV is a type of television set that uses a Cathode Ray Tube as its display technology. CRT TVs were one of the earliest and most common types of televisions used for several decades until the advent of newer technologies like LCD, LED, and OLED displays. It’s a vacuum tube with a large glass screen that bulges outward at the front. It consists of three electron guns, one for each primary color: red, green, and blue. These guns emit beams of electrons. When the TV is turned on, the electron guns start emitting beams of electrons. These beams are accelerated and directed towards the front of the tube.
