The Galaxy Quest movie is about the washed up stars of a 1970s sci-fi show who now have to play their roles as the real thing when an alien race needs their help. The aliens believed the cast’s heroic on-screen dramas were historical documents of real-life adventures and thus hilarity and adventure ensues. They have to defend both Earth and the alien race from an evil reptilian warlord. Dr. Lazarus is the scientist of the NSEA-Protector in the Galaxy Quest series. He is portrayed by fictional actor Alexander Dane, who is portrayed by Alan Rickman, RIP.
