The “Humans are Terrifying Space Orcs” theory is a popular one in tumblr. But there’s also an alternative theory that states “Humans are Nice (Not Space Orcs)“. So I mean I guess it could go either way. Or humans could be terrifying nice space orc friends, lol. Anyway, here’s one of the og space orc threads:

What do you think? Would humans be terrifying or nice or both? Leave a comment below!
Reminds me of the “world’s slowest murder” video on Youtube where the murderer uses a spoon.
not sure where this whole “persistence predator” idea came from but don’t believe everything you read online.
We don’t have much better stamina or healing ability than other animals. That is absurd.
We have much better brains. And with that, we learn how to train ourselves, and how to treat wounds so we don’t get infected and die from them.
We weren’t persistence hunters. We were, and still are, intelligent hunters, which is far, far more frightening.
Some humans learned how to hunt by placing a few poles in the ground in a V shape (with quite a bit of space between them). A “hunting party” would scare a herd of animals towards the poles. The animals would be going too fast to go through the gaps and end up in a big crowd, push in by those behind. Sure, once they slow down, plenty of them would escape, but that wasn’t the point. Standing on either side of the V-shape would be humans with spears/weapons who would take out some of the herd. The rest get away, which is good, but with very little effort AND NO NEED TO CHASE ANYTHING DOWN, the humans would have killed dozens of the animals, and not just stragglers.
No other predator in the world could do that.
