Idiocracy is a Eugenics Movie

Wow, I never looked at it this way, but this post makes a very strong point that Idiocracy is a eugenics movie. It’s a great movie, but this is legit and something to think about. If you’ve never seen it, Idiocracy is a 2006 satirical sci-fi comedy film directed by Mike Judge. The movie presents a dystopian future where society has devolved into an intellectually and culturally barren landscape. The population has become incredibly stupid and shallow. The premise revolves around an average man named Joe Bauers, played by Luke Wilson. He is selected for a top-secret military hibernation experiment. However, the experiment goes awry, and Joe wakes up 500 years later to find that society has significantly regressed intellectually, with idiocy prevailing over reason.

The film explores themes of anti-intellectualism, consumerism, and the consequences of a dumbed-down society. Despite its initial poor box office performance, Idiocracy has gained a cult following over the years for its biting social commentary and dark humor.
