This post about imbalance of work in heterosexual relationships is just sad. Now obviously it’s not every relationship, but we have all seen this. Mothers often seem to have to bear the brunt of the housework and the childcare duties. This can obviously cause resentment and anger in the relationship. It doesn’t have to be like this. Tell “Johnny Do Nothing” to do better or maybe it’s time to move on. Division of labor imbalances in marriage are a form of spousal abuse. And it’s all because of simple misogyny and old cultural norms.
