You may not be aware of this, but authors JRR Tolkien and CS Lewis were very close and shared an important and complex friendship. Today we know them around the world as the creators of Middle-earth and Narnia. Their respective series The Lord of the Rings and The Chronicles of Narnia are among the most well known fantasy books ever written.
