In a related topic, a gay guy once posted that he realized that women’s threat level goes way down when he encounters a female friend out walking. He wished that straight men realized this.

The hell does that mean? The woman was threatening him?
I’m curious to know if this is the result of conditioning or inherited instincts.
This is also the case for men who were abused. Raised voices equal danger. Men may respond differently than women do. But it still is a learned response from past trauma. Please keep this in mind when you are in any situation where you would consider raising your voice.
