Shanghai based artist Eddie Liu painted this wonderful series that imagines what a few of our favorite DC superheroes might look like when they grow old and are ready to retire. They still look rather heroic and could probably still kick some ass!

The First of the old DC superheroes is elderly Flash. We’re loving Barry Allen as an older gentleman rocking this awesome dad mustache. Wonder if he’s still as fast?

The next old DC superhero is Bats! We have to say that silver fox bearded Batman is a pretty good look! Old man Bruce Wayne as retired Batman is a familiar character from The Dark Knight Returns 1986 four-issue comic book miniseries written by Frank Miller.

Silver fox bearded Clark Kent aka Superman is another great look! But I mean, can superman really age this much? What is he here, like 500 years old?

And lastly of the old DC superheroes, it’s retired Princess Diana of Themyscira, Wonder Woman herself. Again, can Wonder Woman really age? Also why is she smoking? And would she be impervious to the dangers of smoke inhalation that us mere mortals face?
