Kirstie Alley played Saavik in Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan, Kelsey Grammer played Captain Morgan Bateson in the Star Trek: The Next Generation fifth season episode “Cause and Effect”, Bebe Neuwirth played Nurse Lanel in the Star Trek: The Next Generation fourth season episode “First Contact”, Kate Mulgrew of course played Captain Kathryn Janeway on Star Trek: Voyager, and Brent Spiner of course played Data on Star Trek: The Next Generation.
Never seen “Cheers” but I believe that Morn (regular DS9 character that practically lives in Quark’s bar and always sits on the same bar stool) is based on someone called “Norm” from Cheers as well.
