Apparently Ringo Starr, the drummer from The Beatles, is a dick. According to this story from catzgba he was super mean after The Beatles LOVE by Cirque du Soleil show:

If that’s how it went down, then yes, he certainly was an asshole. You claim to have been such a huge Beatles fan, yet you know nothing about Julian Lennon?? You should at least be aware that he is a musician, singer/songwriter (and philanthropist!) in his own right.
I’m just going to say that logic is skewed. Say you’re a Martin Sheen fan. Love his movies. You know Charlie and Emilio are his sons. Enjoy the Martin’s movies where his sons are in it. But by your logic you would also know ever fact about or movie that Emilio has done, because he’s the son of your favorite actor. It doesn’t really work that way.
We’re talking about an 11 year old who was fanning over a band for what the band has done. That certainly doesn’t mean they’ve kept up with every person in the band members’ lives. Granted Julian is awesome, but he’s not part of the Beatles, you know?
I think you also take for granted the fact that internet wasn’t around back then. It’s not as if he could just go home, look Julian Lennon up on Google and start following him. He kept him in his memory all these years and that’s enough.
To correct myself, I now realize this show was in 2006. Still, this is an 11 year old and you’re expecting too much.
