Netflix Family posted today that Sharkboy and Lavagirl are back… and they’re parents. WE CAN BE HEROES blazes to Netflix on New Year’s Day.

We Can Be Heroes is an upcoming American superhero film written, directed and produced by Robert Rodriguez, serving as a stand-alone sequel to The Adventures of Sharkboy and Lavagirl in 3-D (2005).

It is scheduled to be released on January 1, 2021 by Netflix, who took over its previous distribution from Dimension Films and Columbia Pictures.
