Photographer Somer Ahonen of Lockbox Studios shot these stunning photos of Cyndi Dawn’s impressive pole dancing Slave Leia cosplay. The iconic “Slave Leia” look made it’s debut in Star Wars: Return of the Jedi (Episode VI). Star Wars fans recently dubbed her “Huttslayer Leia” since Leia of course slayed Jabba the Hutt on Tatooine while wearing it.
This photoshoot expertly combines Star Wars with pole dance. As you are probably aware, pole dance or pole fitness combines dance and acrobatics centered on a vertical pole. This performance art form has found it’s place as a mainstream form of fitness, practiced in gyms and dedicated dance studios around the world. It’s no longer just erotic dance in strip clubs anymore. Many women see pole fitness as empowering and consider it to be feminist.
Regardless of your feeling on the subject, you have to admit she kills this Slave Leia pole dance shoot and her skills are impressive. The strength and control required to pull off these poses, in six inch heels no less, is inspiring! So even if you find her lack of pants disturbing, you can’t deny the force is strong with this one!
