  1. Could be trans, could be different actors. It’s up to your interpretation. Not sure why you have to have it one way or the other.

    1. Here’s the tea: The green and brown M&M’s used to be portrayed as male, and now they are both clearly portrayed as female. They are still green and brown M&M’s, but their genders have transitioned to the opposite gender on the spectrum. That’s the very definition of transgender. Like, that is the literal translation from the Latin. They are trans. Stop making poor excuses and deal with it.

      1. Ah yes, Trans people get longer legs and different body forms. Makes total sense.. they rebranded the m&ms so that the lady appealed to be sexy to the people viewing or to other m&ms I forgot. WAIT till you figure out that there’s more than one person of the same colour and not just one gender 🤭.

        1. Wait till you figure out that trans people’s bodies actually change a lot during their transition.

        2. @Krios “they rebranded the m&ms so that the lady appealed to be sexy ” it’s okay that you find transpeople sexy. No one is judging you. I mean they ARE both sexier now that they have transitioned so I get it.

  2. As a transaphobe, the only thing about this that makes me uncomfortable is how delusional people are

    1. I love how you say, “as a transphobe” like anyone actually cares about your opinion. If you don’t have anything nice or positive to say, then don’t say it.

  3. The fact that people spend time discussing this is what gets me. They are cartoons. So what? Life must be really good for you that THIS is a hot topic to spend your energy on.

Trans or not, if it makes you happy to think the way you do.. think it. End of story, who cares who else does or doesn’t.

  4. The leap I think we’re making here is assuming that multiple M&M characters of the same color can not exist.

That’s like saying there can only ever be one Earth Pony or one Pegasus Pony.

There might be millions of Red M+Ms out there in addition to the jerk we see on TV.

      1. Tyciol is probably right. Yellow says “My Great Uncle Yellow” implying he has other yellow relatives, and we see many M&Ms of all colors in this ad collection (Island) from 2012 featuring a lost M&M’s tribe. It’s probably a different green M&M and a different brown M&M. youtube.com/watch?v=_4M4NPOEAKI

  5. Lol those are candies not actual human beings, and assuming they are lesbians? Why do you assume such thing?
