  1. I think the closest I’ve seen to this is in Heinlein’s The Moon Is a Harsh Mistress, where the protagonist, whose arm was amputated, had a number of different arms that he could use as tools and one “social” arm.

    Pretty comprehensive of the possibilities for a book copyrighted in 1966, I think.

  2. How about just, an android body like Data’s, or an android type body assist harness that we can just slip on and off like a shirt and pants?

  3. It’s looking like we may need to switch to using a wheelchair part time sometime in the future. Right now we have good days when we don’t need mobility aids, days when we need one or both crutches, and times we need our rollator. So definitely a wheelchair that can teleport to us and is gps tagged. We agree with that idea.
