Work and Death Story

Joseph Henry Green (November 2st, 1791 – December 13th, 1863) was an English surgeon and anatomist. In his later years he suffered from inherited gout and an acute seizure. He died in his house and according to his friend Sir John Simon, his last words were “Stopped.”, referring to his own pulse.
