Paladin Writing Prompt Response

This is an amazing response written by dycefic to the writing prompt: “You are a devout Paladin trying to prevent the resurrection of a dark goddess. Ultimately you fail. When the goddess awakens, she claims that she doesn’t know who she is or what has happened. After a few days you’re struggling to determine if she actually has amnesia or if she is just lying.” In this case, it turns out the dark goddess is just an innocent child. This is a longer story, but it’s well worth the read:

  1. This is incredible. Absolutely love it. I would buy the book with the whole story of the paladin that became the Mother.

  2. You have successfully illustrated the difference between Lawful Neutral and Lawful Good. A Lawful Neutral character would have followed their orders and killed the god-child. The Lawful Good character views the law as a primary tool to achieve justice.
