  1. This is using noncanon numbers whose outputs aren’t supported by what’s actually shown in the Star Wars films, and thus cannot be taken seriously.

    Federation tech is vastly superior to Imperial tech if one is judging by what’s actually SHOWN IN THE SOURCE MATERIAL rather than made up by a fanboi who managed to get a writing contract for a bit of fluff that George Lucas was never going to consider in his storytelling.

  2. Trek’s capitals have far better maneuverability, (not as important when your guns are literally everywhere on your SD) but Wars has them DWARFED in speed. Trek takes 70 years to go from one section of the galaxy to the other, outside forces notwithstanding. Wars takes 6 weeks to 6 months to travel from one end of the galaxy to the other, depending on route and engine.

    Also TIE blasters literally cannot penetrate Trek shields (their wattage is lower than stated in the one episode), but they establish proton torps go straight through.
